CURRIE — John Hart Currie Sr., 73, a lifelong resident of Preble, N.Y., died Jan. 14, 2009, in Sarasota, Fla. HILDRETH — Marcia P. Hildreth, 97, of Florence, S.C., died Dec. 16, 2008 in Florence. Interment will take place in the Truxton Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.
KEMAK — Theodore E. Kemak Sr., 73, of Willet, N.Y., died Jan. 14, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Whitney Point, with the Rev. Jerome Katz as celebrant. MILLER — David Francis Miller, 66, of Cortland, N.Y., died Jan. 10, 2009, at the Tidewell Hospice House in Venice, Fla., surrounded by his loving family. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, on Jan. 24, followed immediately by a celebration of his life at the Homer Congregational Church Russell Fellowship Room.
