COLE —Jean G. Cole, 83, of Chipman Corners Road, Groton, New York, died July 14, 2010, at the Northwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Cortland. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield. Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
CLARK — Daniel “Dan” H. Clark Jr., 47, of Old Stage Road., Groton, New York, died July 16, 2010 at his home after an extended illness. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Zirbel Funeral Home, 115 Williams St., Groton.
SMITH — Edward G. Smith, “Donkey Man,” 93, of Harford-Slaterville Road, Dryden, New York, died July 11, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 7 at the Dryden Assembly of God Church. Zirbel Funeral Home, 115 Williams St., Groton has care of arrangements.
SMITH — Frederick “Fred” B. Smith, 80, of 807 Stupke Road, Cortland, New York, died July 16, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Interment with military honors will follow in the Cortland Rural Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

AYERS — Alma Crandall Moore Ayers, 91, died July 14, 2010. By request of the family and honoring Alma wishes there will be no services.
KRUEGER — Jane L. Krueger, 70, of Scott, New York, died July 14, 2010, in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Interment will follow in Scott Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
LEONARD — Kathy Throup Leonard, 47, of 15 Kingsley Ave., Cortland, New York, died July 10, 2010. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. with services to follow, July 31 at the Ogden Hillcrest Methodist Church, Chenango Street, Binghamton. A luncheon will be served at the church following the service. Burial will be in Vestal on Aug. 2, 2010.

EVENER — John Henry Evener Sr., 86, of 200 West South St., Groton, New York, died July 13, 2010, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Perkins Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by members of the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home Ritual Team will follow in Highland Cemetery, Richford. MARSHALL — Janet J. Foster Marshall, 68, of Willet, New York, formerly of Cuyler, died July 12, 2010, at Lourdes Hospital. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery. Friends may call will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
THOMAS — Inez Nora Thomas, 72, of Cortland, New York, died July 12, 2010, in the Cortland Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in Scott Union Cemetery.
WOLPERT — Katherine J. “Kitty” Wolpert, of York Street, Cortland, New York, died July 13, 2010, at her home. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Riccardi Funeral Home, Cortland.

BOWER — Betty J. Bower, 80, of 100 Maple Ave., Cortland, New York, died July 4, 2010. Memorial services will be held at the Homer Avenue Methodist Church for family, friends and neighbors at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
FARRELL — Elizabeth (Betty) Farrell, 88, of 206 Sykes St., Groton, New York, died July 10, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony’s Church, 312 Locke Road, Groton. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
HULSLANDER — Wanda A Hulslander, 87, of Cortland, New York, died July 11, 2010, in Cortland Care Center. JORDAN — Thomas N. Jordan, 79, of Cincinnatus, New York, died July 11, 2010, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus. Burial will be in Truxton Rural Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

MUNRO — Roy C. Munro, 75, of 216 West Washington St., Bath, New York, died July 8, 2010, at the Bath Veterans Administration Medical Center. Graveside services were held at Bath National Cemetery at 1p.m. today.
REAGAN — Buel F. Reagan, 90, of Cortland, New York, died July 10, 2010, at Northwoods of Cortland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Lucasz Kozlowski serving as celebrant. Prayers of committal will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home, 69 N. Main St., Cortland.

BRAIG — Lawrence Lee Braig, 77, of Hillcrest, New York, formerly of Marathon, died July 9, 2010. Memorial services and a celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Marathon American Legion, Route 11, Marathon.
GALUTZ — Janice M. Thornton Galutz, 70, died July 10, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fergerson Funeral Home with burial following in Assumption Cemetery.
