ARMSTRONG — Thomasine H. Armstrong, of Pennswood Village, Newtown, Pa., and formerly of Cortland, N.Y.., died Sept. 26, 2009. A private ceremony was held for the family.
YAGER — Darlene Yager of Pitcher, N.Y., died Oct. 2, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y.. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, N.Y.

RIGGS - a son, Kai Alexander, 8 lbs. 4 oz., Aug. 17, 2009, in Syracuse, to Steve and Darcy Ballard Riggs, Dryden, N.Y.
KRESSLER - a son, Nicholas Joseph, 7 lbs. 4 oz., Sept. 18, 2009, to Nathan Kressler and Jennifer Hammond, 23 Sands St., Cortland, N.Y.
MELDRIM - a son, Finlay James, 6 lbs. 2 oz., Sept. 4, 2009, in Boston, to James and Lisa Marotz Meldrim, 60 Baldwin St., Charleston, Mass.

 

FEUSS — Patricia Griffith Feuss, 71, of Homer, N.Y., died Sept. 20, 2009. A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 17, at Homer Congregational Church, Homer. Friends may call from 11 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is assisting the family.

 

DONNELLY — Amy Lynn Donnelly, 39, of South Plymouth, N.Y., died. Arrangements are by the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 North Broad St., Norwich.
RANDALL — James M. Randall, 44, of 10 Riverview Ave., Cortland, N.Y., died Sept. 22, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at The Salvation Army, 138 S. Main St., Cortland.

MOORE — Dee Yancey Moore Sr., 84, died Sept. 26, 2009, from complications caused by a fall from his horse in June 2008. Friends may call at the Maine Federated Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday. A celebratory service of Dee Y.’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Maine Cemetery.
TINKER — Ms. Lisa A. Tinker, 49, of New Castle, Del., died Sept. 22, 2009. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, Del., where visitation will begin at 4 p.m.

DRAKE — a son, Logan James, 9 lbs. 11 oz., Sept. 16, 2009, to Eric and Jennifer Wing Drake, 1172 Starr Road, Apt. 3, Cortland, N.Y.
HAYES — a son, Everett Stephen, 8 lbs. 3 oz., April 22, 2009, in Gainesville, Fla., to Shane Hayes and Juanita Bush, former residents of DeRuyter.
KEMP — a son, Karson Arthur, 10 lbs. 4 oz., Sept. 14, 2009, to Jason Kemp and Lindsay Andersen, 6165 Sunnyside Drive, Homer, N.Y..

BUCCINA — Joyce Dorward Buccina, 59, of DeRuyter, N.Y., died Sept. 27, 2009, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Services will be noon on Thursday at Smith Funeral Home, Cortland St., DeRuyter. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, DeRuyter. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon Thursday at the funeral home.
RANDALL — James M. Randall, 44, of 10 Riverview Ave., Cortland, N.Y., died Sept. 22, 2009, at Cortland Regional Medical Center. Arrangements will be announced by the Riccardi Funeral Home when complete.

BRISTOL — Franklin E. Bristol, 89, of Homer, N.Y., died Sept. 27, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. A memorial service will be given in memory of both Barbara and Franklin Bristol at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Homer Congregational Church. Friends may call an hour before the service. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery directly after the brief service, where full military honors will be given.
CROSS — Dora E. Cross, 82, of Freetown, N.Y., died Sept. 27, 2009, at Cortland Regional Medical Center, Cortland. In celebration of her birth and life, the funeral service will be held on her birthday at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Barth Funeral Home, 42 E. Main Street, McGraw. Interment will be in Freetown Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
KNAPP — Elizabeth N. Knapp, 88, of Marathon, N.Y., died Sept. 26, 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Marathon. Burial will be in Marathon Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the A.C. Baker & Son Funeral Home, 26 Main St., Marathon.
WARNER — Wilhelmina R. “Willie” Warner, 94, of Groton, N.Y., died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at the Groton Nursing Facility. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 103 Lincoln Avenue, Groton. Private interment will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.
