Connor Grime scored off a T.J. Moade corner kick and McIntosh got the game-winner eight minutes into the second half, again assisted by Cizenski, as DeRuyter beat the Cougars, whose lone goal came from Brandon Pupp. The winners got 10 saves from Tiffany and had a 15-11 shot advantage, Robert Reeder making 13 saves for SV.
The Rockets, now 5-7 overall, return to Central Counties League play, where they’re 2-6, by visiting Brookfield on Wednesday.
