Squirts skate off with two victories

The Computing Center Squirt Snowbelt youth hockey team won both of its games this past weekend, 4-3 over visiting Lysander on Saturday and 5-3 at Clinton on Sunday.
Dakota Ayer scored twice while Abigail Villnave and Andrew Partigianoni had a goal apiece against Lysander, goalie Ryan Delage with 11 saves.
Partigianoni scored twice against Clinton, Dillon Skinner with a goal and an assist while Ayer and Jacob Couture with one goal each. Goalie Andrew Kristof stopped seven shots as the winners had a 29-10 shot advantage.
The Ecomony Paving squad won twice on the road, beating Skaneateles 4-2 on Saturday and Monroe County AA 14U South 3-2 on Sunday. Matt Gombas had a goal and an assist while Michael Turck, Jared Berry and Jonathon Frederick scored once each against Skaneateles. Goalie Brandon Ludwig made 18 saves.
Gombas scored twice and Cole Compagni had a goal and an assist against Monroe County 14U South, with P.J. Shager stopping 17 shots in the winners’ nets.
The Heritage Realty team lost twice to the Thousand Islands Pirates, 10-2 Saturday on the road and 14-5 at home on Sunday.
Trevor Jubran had both goals on Saturday while goalies Nick Rogers and Adam Howser combined for 19 saves. Josh Cargen had two goals and an assist Sunday while Trevor Jubran had a goal and an assist and Dante Patriarco and Nick Gravel one goal each. Rogers and Howser each stopped nine shots.
The Cortland County Youth Hockey White team lost 10-7 at Valley on Saturday. Dominic Jump, Tyler Luckey, Gabe O’Connor and T.J. Serkiz were the goal-scorers and goalie Liam O’Connor made 18 saves.
