Deaths
REED — Ruth M. Reed, 102, of Marathon, N.Y., died Dec. 16, 2009. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Marathon Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Marathon Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. An Eastern Star service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

BAGARDO — Frank J. Bagardo, 82, of Cortland, N.Y., died Dec. 13, 2009, at University Hospital, Syracuse. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Zirbel Funeral Home, Groton.
NELSON — Ronald Nelson, 79, of Norwich, N.Y., and formerly of Cincinnatus, died Dec. 13, 2009, at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home, Norwich. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, German. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
WATSON — Reta Watson, 78, of Northwoods of Cortland, N.Y. died Dec. 13, 2009, at Cortland Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held in Glenwood Cemetery in the spring.
