MAY — Linda L. May, 63, of 106 Dewey Ave., Groton, N.Y., died July 4, 2006, at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Groton Community Church, 204 E. Cortland St., Groton. Interment will follow in Groton Rural Cemetery. HIGGINS — Adeline Bostelmann Higgins, 80, of Micco, Fla., died June 30, 2006, at her summer home on Skaneateles Lake, N.Y. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. July 17 at the United Presbyterian Church, 25 Church St., Cortland. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Cortland, is in charge of arrangements.
MACNAUGHTON — Roger Kay MacNaughton, 72, of Quinton, Va., formerly of Syracuse, N.Y., and Little York, N.Y., died at home June 29, 2006. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 250 Waring Road, Syracuse. Following the service, friends will gather at the Alliance Bank Stadium Hank Sauer Room, 1 Tex Simone Drive, Syracuse.
NATALE — Ferdinando “Fred” Natale, 85, a longtime resident of Cortland, died July 1, 2006, at his home in Endicott, N.Y. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 50 Pomeroy St., Cortland. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. POULIN — James C. Poulin, 90, of Rochester, N.Y., and Marlboro, N.Y., died June 20, 2006. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lattingtown Baptist Church, Marlboro.
REITANO — John J. Reitano, of 11 Louise Drive, Cortlandville, N.Y., passed away at home on July 2, 2006, at the age of 66. Services will be at 8:50 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home, 69 N. Main St., Cortland, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. Prayers of committal will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. SACK —Vincent R. Sack, 87, of Cortland, N.Y., and most recently of Utica, N.Y., died July 1, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Services will be at noon Thursday at Eannace Funeral Home, 932 South St., Utica, and at 1 p.m. at St. Agnes Church in Utica, where his Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. EDWARDS — Nora G. Edwards, 83, of Norwich, N.Y., died July 1, 2006, at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, 116 N. Broad St., Norwich. Interment will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery of South New Berlin. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
MCEVOY — Elizabeth R. McEvoy, 99, died July 1, 2006, at the Elizabeth Brewster House, Homer, N.Y., where she had been residing. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Prayers of committal will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
